Apple has its refurbished storefront to offer up a bit of a discounted price point for its popular devices, including the iPhone lineup.
That trend continues with the latest addition to the library of offered devices. Apple on Friday officially welcomed the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus to the refurbished storefront, offering up noteworthy discounts on the handsets. However, there is one thing to be aware of: Apple is only offering the 64GB option as of right now. So if you were hoping to get more built-in storage in your refurbished model, you might have to wait a bit longer.
As for pricing, the 64GB iPhone 8 is priced at $499 for the Space Gray, Gold, and Silver options. This is $100 off the standard pricing of $599, saving future owners 16 percent. If you prefer the larger option with the iPhone 8 Plus, that is priced at $599 for all three aforementioned color options. That’s saving $100, or 16%, as well.
As is par for the course, here is how Apple describes the refurbished options:
”We test and certify all Apple refurbished products and include a 1-year warranty.
All refurbished iPhone models also include a brand new battery, new outer shell and a new white box.
Supply is limited and availability is guaranteed once we receive your full payment.”
One other thing to be aware of is shipping. For instance, the Space Gray model will ship in one to two weeks with the free shipping option.
Are you planning on picking up a refurbished iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus?
