Apple Store Goes Down Ahead of 2018 iPad Pro and MacBook Unveiling Later Today

Just like it happens before any Apple event, the company’s online store has gone down ahead of today’s iPad Pro and MacBook event. Apple is also expected to unveil the Apple Pencil 2 at the event.

Unlike the iPhone XS event from September, Apple’s ‘There’s More in the Making’ is a relatively smaller one that is being held in Brooklyn. The event is scheduled to start from 10:00 AM ET.

Apple is expected to unveil its 2018 iPad Pro lineup at the event. The refreshed tablet lineup will feature slimmer bezels, faster A12-powered internals, and Face ID. The thinner tablets will also ditch the headphone jack and the Lightning connector. Instead, it will feature a USB-C port to allow for 4K HDR video output to external monitors.

Thankfully, Apple will also bundle a 18W USB-C charger with the tablets for faster charging times.

The new iPad Pro lineup launch will be complemented by the Apple Pencil 2 featuring gesture control.

Alongside its new iPad Pro lineup, Apple is also expected to unveil a new cheaper MacBook lineup featuring Intel’s Kaby Lake processor. There are also rumors of a refreshed Mac mini being unveiled at the event.
